Ian Tornay graduated from Cooper Union with Bachelor of Architecture in 1989. He received a Master of Fine Arts in Painting and Sculpture from Queens College in 1994. He teaches architecture, interior design and fine art courses at several colleges in Southeastern Pennsylvania. As well as being a practicing artist, he is an accomplished wood worker. He has worked as an independent interior designer in New York and Philadelphia since 1990.
